In October 2012, we decided to support a young lad called James Dwight who suffers from Spastic Diplegic Cerbral Palsy.

He needs to raise £35,000 so that he can go to Frenchay Hospital, Bristol for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), a complicated procedure which involves cutting some of the sensory nerve fibres that come from the muscles and enter the spinal cord. The operation will reduce spasticity, giving him the opportunity to walk unaided for the first time.
